Veteran game developer Peter Molyneux’s UK studio 22Cans has undergone a round of layoffs. Multiple employees were let go in the move, but the precise number of cuts was not made public.

A spokesperson confirmed to GI.biz that the layoffs at the Fable designer’s studio were due to a variety of reasons. “Unfortunately, due to a number of factors including projects reaching a certain stage in their development, we can confirm that a number of roles at 22cans have been made redundant,” the statement said. “Development at the studio is continuing, however.”
